Planning to get married in Pennsylvania? Here is what you need and what to expect:

• Make sure you're both at least 18 years of age. (If you're younger, you'll need parental consent.)

• Note that blood tests are no longer required in this state.

• Apply in person with your intended spouse at the county clerk's office, which is located in the county courthouse.

• Bring a photo identification with you. Some counties require this before issuing a license.
